Event Details

The Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC) is excited to host its first ever combined Low Carbon Smart Mobility and Smart Rail Technology Conference in Toronto from November 28 to December 2, 2022.

This jam-packed five day event will explore the latest technologies in low carbon smart mobility and rail innovations in Canada and globally. Each conference will take place over two and a half days, allowing attendees the opportunity to attend either one conference or both.

The event will begin with our 4th Annual Low Carbon Smart Mobility Conference with various topics exploring transit innovations, hydrogen fuel cell electric bus technologies, battery electric buses, autonomous vehicles, renewable natural gas, as well as social and economic diversity in transit decarbonization.

The 3rd Annual Smart Rail Technology Conference will cover rail in Canada and case studies of rail electrification from around the world. Topics will include hydrogen rail feasibility modelling and deployment, battery electric bus integration with rail stations, passenger data analysis, autonomous bus crossings and high frequency rail versus high speed rail in Canada.

This in-person conference will consist of meaningful networking opportunities and feature technical tours within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area. The conferences will also be livestreamed, so you will be able to join us virtually if you cannot attend in person.

With so much content to share, attendees can expect this conference to be bigger and better than ever before! Early bird tickets are available until August. Stay tuned for updates to our agenda and speaker line up.
