Women, we want to hear from you about WEG

The Women’s Environmental Group (WEG) is a new industry initiative that aims to connect women working in the environment sector. WEG will tackle critical issues, provide a platform for mentorship and networking, and support women working in the environment sector.

WEG was recently launched before International Women’s Day. The virtual discussion and featured speaker presentation sparked a great conversation and positive feedback about next steps. For a recap on the inaugural meeting and background of WEG, click here.

WEG will leverage its existing platforms to support membership goals and objectives. This includes active participation by partnership representative(s) at six meetings annually and collaboration for key events and activities.

With this in mind, a survey is underway to fine tune goals and action items of this exciting new initiative.

Please take a few minutes to tell us about our preferences for the path forward as we provide an important platform for women working in the environment sector across the country to connect, tackle critical issues, enjoy new networking opportunities and empower each other.
