The Eastern Canada Acid Rain Program

The Eastern Canada Acid Rain Program committed the federal and provincial governments from Manitoba eastward to reduce 1980 levels of acid rain causing emissions by 50 per cent by 1994 to help protect sensitive lakes and rivers.
