Ecological Gifts Program Established

Ecological Gifts Program is established to offer tax benefits to landowners for donating ecological valuable lands to qualified recipients. By 2020, more than 1,400 ecological gifts valued at over $900 million were donated across Canada, protecting 195,000 hectares of important habitat.
