[post-views]

GreenMantra Technologies, a leader in molecular recycling, has appointed Domenic Di Mondo as Chief Executive Officer. Di Mondo has been with the Brantford, Ont.-based GreenMantra for 14 years, serving as President since 2021.

Di Mondo shared his excitement about his new role, saying: “I am honoured to step into the position of CEO at GreenMantra. Having been part of this company for over a decade, I am deeply committed to advancing our mission. With our talented team, we will continue to innovate and develop sustainable solutions that create a meaningful impact on our planet.”

Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to the company’s mission to use technology to reduce the amount of plastic in landfills. He originally joined GreenMantra as a research and development manager during its first year of operations, bringing scientific expertise that has been instrumental in the company’s growth.

Under Di Mondo’s leadership, GreenMantra is poised to advance as a leader in sustainable innovation and molecular recycling in the Canadian market.

GreenMantra’s products are used as performance enhancers and processing aids in roofing, asphalt roads, extruded plastic pipes, and other construction infrastructure applications with useful lifespans of 20-50+ years. In each application, product performance is improved, providing a more efficient manufacturing process, and allowing manufacturers to increase the recycled content of their end products without sacrificing performance. The company annually diverts thousands of tons of waste plastic from our oceans and landfills into new applications.

In other news, the the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario recently announced more than $19 million in investments to support nine manufacturing companies and GreenMantra was one of the recipients.
