Ministry of Natural Resources
The Ministry of Natural Resources was established, initially overseeing northern affairs until 1977 and mines until 1985. From 1995 to 1997, it was temporarily merged with Northern Development and Mines, forming the Ministry of Natural Resources, Northern Development, and Mines.
