The National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE) was established in 1994 to promote sustainable development across Canada. It brought together experts from various sectors to provide independent, evidence-based advice on integrating environmental and economic policies. The NRTEE played a key role in shaping Canada’s approach to sustainability until its closure in 2013.
