Veolia Canada announces new Chief Executive Officer

Veolia has announced that Nicolas Germond has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Veolia Canada. Germond was previously CEO for Veolia Belgium and Luxembourg. Building on Veolia Canada’s recent successes in 2024, the company has developed a strong platform for expansion in the areas of municipal waste, municipal water, hazardous waste and on-site services.

Germond will be responsible for leading the company’s GreenUp strategic growth plan in Canada to expand Veolia’s leadership in providing integrated environmental services to cities and industries in the water, waste and energy sectors to help customers achieve their operational and sustainability goals.

Since 1948, Veolia has grown to include over 31 operations across Canada including a research and development facility and three manufacturing operations with over 1,000 employees.
