Prior to his position at Ivey, Lynch was Vice President of Global Partnerships and Initiatives at the World Council on City Data, and Director, Sustainable Cities at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Geneva, Switzerland.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining Green Economy Canada at this strategic moment and to roll up my sleeves with the team and our partners,” says Matthew Lynch. “Canada is navigating its role in uncertain global trade and economic realities and the impacts hit close to home in small and medium-sized businesses across the country. When those businesses are looking to make climate-smart investments for the future, GEC will help amplify their voice and seek to draw 10,000 businesses into climate action and solutions by 2028.”
