Dedicated to the rehabilitation and revitalization of sites that were once contaminated, under-utilized, and undeveloped, the Brownie Awards provide annual recognition of brownfield work in Canada. Renewed residential, commercial and park projects are proven to contribute to the growth and resilience of healthy cities and communities.
Submit your award nomination by September 5th and join us in-person at the Delta Marriott in Toronto on November 13th for an evening of celebration!
The first Brownie Award was granted in 2000 with the official founding in 2001 by the Canadian Urban Institute. The goal of the awards program is to recognize the innovative efforts of brownfield professionals across Canada.
As an annual celebration of excellence in the remediation and redevelopment of brownfield sites across Canada, the Brownie Awards are presented proudly in partnership by the Canadian Brownfields Network and Actual Media Inc.
