In addition, the call for nominations has been initiative earlier than usual, to provide a more accessible time frame for applicants from across the country to join the nomination process. The Brownie Awards Jury is encouraging more projects from eastern, western and northern Canada to participate.
Dedicated to the rehabilitation and revitalization of sites that were once contaminated, under-utilized, and undeveloped, the Brownie Awards provide annual recognition and celebration of brownfield work in Canada. Renewed residential, commercial and park projects are proven to contribute to the growth and resilience of healthy cities and communities.
The Brownie Awards, presented in partnership by the Canadian Brownfields Network and Actual Media Inc., is excited to celebrate 25 years of recognizing the incredible work of projects and project leaders who are cleaning up and transforming a wide variety of sites across the country.
This year, the nomination deadline is September 12, 2024 and the winners will be announced at the Brownie Awards gala on November 18, 2023.
