The Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE) 20/20 Catalysts Program is an award-winning capacity-building program that equips participants with the skills, tools, and resources to maximize the social and economic benefits that communities can gain through participation in clean energy projects.
Over six months, participants engage in virtual learning activities as well as three week-long on-site intensive sessions during which they will be supported by peers, mentors, coaches, ICE staff, and the ICE network. On-site locations are strategically chosen based on their proximity to renewable energy projects.
This year, the Catalysts gathered at on-sites in Tofino, BC (June), Wendake, QC (September), and Six Nations of the Grand River, ON (November), where they took part in hands-on workshops, mentor-led coaching sessions, on-the-land activities, and visits to Indigenous-owned clean energy projects. T
The program culminated in the 2024 Changemakers Forum, which brought together Indigenous leaders, innovators, and allies in clean energy to celebrate, share, and spark impactful change.
